Phase 3!

So I've had an interesting last week. 
My personal trainer, who happens to be my best friend and big bro flew in 
from Vegas to surprise me last tuesday. 
He and my hubby had been planing this sneaky visit since January and I not once sniffed it out! 
Can you imagine? 
(.. I find out everything... just sayin')
I hadn't seen him in over 8 years.. 
well, since I graduated high school! We do talk every day but still. 
Nothing beats seeing someone you love dearly in person like that. 
And I like big bear hugs :)
One of the best weeks ever!

He also turned my kids into the despicable me minions. 
All I hear now is "be do be do be do!" ;)




So from last Tuesday through this Monday he was here. 
We trained for a few days and it kicked my ass. 
Phase 3 of my workouts are now in motion and I have 20 pounds to shred by September.
I can do this. I've lost 50 lbs so far. 
50. 


Over the weekend (Fri-Mon) we went to Comic Palooza and had a crazy fun blast. Hubby and Joe and the kids really enjoyed things as I did, too. Next year when we are all ripped we are cosplaying it up. Deciding between GI Joe and Thundercats at the moment. I think in order to pull things off we will need to be leaned out and cut for the parts. No one wants a fat Cheetara or Baroness right? LOL

Anyhow - I'm missing Joe like crazy since he left. I feel like a week wasn't enough time having not been around him in over 8 years.
(I'm being greedy I know)

Happily (unless he decides to surprise me again haha) he will be back with us in November for our competition in Pensacola, FL for a few days, and then a month later if things pan out the right way.

Before I get started on these next goals I just wanted to put out there that since April of 2013 I am down a total 63.5 inches and 50 lbs. 
That's crazy. 
Like 2 people around. I'm going to list my 1 week post baby stats and todays for an update:



1 week post -- 13 months and some change post (May 28, 14)

So for Phase 3.
Upping cardio and lifting even heavier and going at it harder than ever before. 
Upping my food intake too. No more 1600-1800 calories. Pushing up to 2000-2400 depending on what my activity levels are. Meal planning is going to be pretty big for me as well.

I need to start pricing out heels, a suit, (2 perhaps?) makeup, hair, nails, the tanning stuff, bikini glue, registration, a robe, and possibly a few other things. 
So crazy.
Oh, and posing practice for stage. 
I'm nervous about that. 
Anyhow.. there is my update for now.
