Hello October!

Holy smokes it's already mid-October! Jensen is 6 months old, crawling, babbling, sitting up on his own as of this morning, Emma is in school, and I have poor miss Kaelyn laying on the floor coloring because she has stitches in her foot from accidentally stepping on the plug prong end of my iphone charger and it 'plugging in' to her foot. Two stitches. *cringe* Tuesday was NOT fun.

Few quick things to recap on that's happened lately.

September went by super fast. The only thing I can remember about September was that my husband was diagnosed with Gout. Eff. He's been on and off medication and crutches over the last month, and has been in a lot of pain from it. He's actually coming down from his second attack from last weekend. *frown*

On a positive note. Our friend Jenni from England is here until the 4th of November so that will be super fun with gym, photography sessions, geo-cashing, and over all just having a massive 2 week movie marathon during the day. Eric is on vacation during this time too so it'll be nice having him around the house too.

GYM!? Hah -- that's what this post was about.  We got a gym membership at Golds in Kingwood! YAY! We've been there now for 3 weeks this Sunday and I've been going about 4-5 times consistently during the week. With all of the chaos at home I haven't had a chance to get my lifting schedule set in stone but Wednesday night Zumba with Sheldon is one of my favorites!

Body pump is pretty awesome too, and for my main cardio I've been doing either the stepper which is a beast, or running on the treadmill. I figured out last week that I can bench around 70-75lbs right now so that's a good start. In HS I was benching 125-135ish so I have some ways to go. I haven't done squats yet with the bar but I used to squat 225. I'm curious what my max is at the moment.. .I'll probably chase after that number some time this week or possibly next weekend.

My hopeful goal is to be 170 by Christmas and 155 by the time Jensen turns 1. I have so much work to do and have had a ton of distractions (poor excuses) that I need to sharpen up and just crack down on this diet part. I'm getting my workouts in for sure. That is no longer a problem. I'm back up at 193-194 from 190 in August. I had crept up to 197 in September from stress eating and not working out at all, and once we found out Eric had Gout we went ahead and got these memberships. No excuses now.

My over all goal, just to do it, is a bikini fitness competition. I want to run a full marathon, too. And once I'm in reaaaaaally good shape, I'd like to do a badass cosplay at one of the anime con's coming around next year.

I'm keeping this short today but I did want to update on what we are doing. I'll post more soon <3

Here is some picture love.

Happy Halloween y'all!
