So it's been awhile since I last posted. Oopsie! We've had quite a bit going on around here. Alot.
If you remember back in July/August I was just merging into month 2 of the insanity workout after a small knee injury to a bursa sac getting all swollen. My waist came down to a 32... and my 1 mile run went to 8:14. Best numbers I've had since having kids. (I have photos I need to post later but for now...)
I shot a wedding on Aug 18th.. and my mothers b-day was the 19th. Things were... off.
I had found out the night of the 18th that I was around 2 months pregnant! Yes. Pregnant. :O
It gets good. Told mom on her birthday the next day.. that was was due on dad's birthday in April. April 21st 2013!
My last weight was in around 185-188 at the time. ( I can't remember) but minus the scale.. I was the smallest I had been in nearly 5 years. ( refer to old photos back in Feb that I posted.)
Anyhow. I'm clockin' in at 193 at 5.5 months and this last week we found out after 2 gorgeous girls... we are finally getting our little boy! :D Jensen Archer Chan will join his sisters Emma Nykole and Kaelyn Alexis soon... 16-18 weeks to be exact... and we couldn't be happier.
Now on to a few other side notes. My weight has been pretty good so far. I know 193 is NOT where I wanted to be at 24 but... considering the length of time we are sitting at in the pregnancy, I'm being very careful on my diet. I'm hoping to not stride past 200 this time. I went from 155/160 with Emma to 230. Bad bad bad! then 185-200 with Kaelyn.... So right now I'm still smaller size wise... I just hope baby boy stays small for now so I'm not enormous and grossly unhealthy after he's born. Trying for a VBAC and no matter what these tubes are being tied off shortly after he is here. I'm done after 3. :)
I'm already researching diet as well, and planning on doing my first 5k in November next year (maybe sooner) depending on how my weight and recovery goes starting in May when I'm cleared at the end of that month to begin training again. My ultimate goal is to stand between 150-160 next holiday season and I will post as much as I can to keep on it.
So anyhow. I'll gussy up this blog some more soon but I wanted to touch base while I could before we got even further in with the pregnancy. I got cleared off of partial bed rest too to workout again so I'm starting that next week after this weeks appt! :)
