*Phew*
So alot has been going on that I have been very occupied with that has prevented me from posting much the last few days. I'll start with the bad-ish first.
Last week we got good news that Emma's ear drum (the one that ruptured the week before that) was in the clear to go for swimming once again. :) A few days following this... This Monday in fact, is when we went through another round of crazy doctor visits and hospital trips.
Monday afternoon we spent a good portion of the afternoon outside, cleaning the porch, pulling the water table out, chasing lizards, and just relaxing in the shade for the first time since last summer. Annnnddddd..... the girls both got ant bites. Didn't think anything of it. No swelling, only a little itching. We had put bactro-ban cream, neosporion, and let them do their thing.
Fast forward to yesterday around 1pm. Kaelyn's neck apparent was bitten twice, once on the web of skin between her thumb and pointer finger, and twice on her middle toe on her right foot. An angry red began to swell around the bite sites and so I grew a little concerned. Called her pedi. Out to lunch. *finger tap*
I got ahold of our endocrinologist (neighbor) and she mentioned children's benydril (sp?)..2ml and let her rest for a few hours and check it again. Check.
Her hand size had TRIPLED from it's normal state. Well.. lets say I packed up the Chan mobile and sped 80mph to the ER down a 45. Hand is swelling now up to her elbow. Wheezing is beginning. She's acting drowsy.
After 5-6 different meds, one including a steroid, antibiotics, and having to administer this ever 2 hours (rotating doses of all kinds through out the night.. and even now) we have it back to normal for the most part. We go in again around 630ish to get it looked at one more time so we are cleared for our FL trip (round 2) in the dark-o-thirty hours tomorrow morning.
Crazy right? It's about a 2 week vicious cycle with the girls; something ALWAYS happens. I still managed to workout in all that mess last night. It was midnight.. but Ashlei and I still did it. :)

Speaking of workouts: here's the stats on what's up lately. My weight is still acting funny, but I'm only 16 days into the workout. I have seen a pretty good shrinkage in inches though! So I'm excited to know what day 60 will look like. Here is day 1, and day 15 measurements. :)
(inches) 5.22.12 6.5.12
neck - 14.5 14 -0.5 inches
bust (pits) 40 37 -3.0 inches
bust (nips) 42.5 40.5 -2.0 inches
bust (ribs) 37 34.5 -2.5 inches
waist 36 34 - 2.0 inches
b.button 40 37.5 -2.5 inches
hips 43 42.5 -0.5 inches
thighs 25.5 25 -0.5 inches
arms 13 12 -1.0 inches
calfs 14 15 + 1.0 inches
I have lost a total of 14.5 inches in 2 weeks since starting the insanity program. LOVE IT! We are now on week 3, day 2 and cranking it out before we leave for FL. Some how we will be figuring out how to work out over the few days I'm gone.. so more than likely it'll be somewhere like 75 days for us since I'll be running the entire time while there. Monday is our 'off' days. (I also run/power walk alot 3-4 times a week vs. 7x a week like I was since starting this. I bumped my calories up to 1400-1600 since I seem to be storing alot at 1200-1400. I really excited my waist is shrinking and same with the baby pooch that I inherited after the girls. If I can get it where I fit into a size 9 pant by the end of the year... I'll be jumping for joy! NO MORE DOUBLE DIGITS!
I'll post pictures later tonight.

On a side note; I really want a siberian husky for Christmas this year, too -- he or she would make a beautiful jogging partner at night and a fantastic companion for my bitties. I want a pup to train up. Unfortunately I will have some convincing to do with Eric first. A male would be named Lucian... a female Isis. I still want a pug named pancake.. but I want a dog to run with at the moment.
Anyhow... out for now. I need to pack! :)
XOXO
