Beast mode.

So the last 4 days I've been hitting my workouts really hard. Saturday and Sunday I rode 8 miles a go burning close to 700 cals each time. Monday and yesterday I ran my 3 mile course; and actually I did an extra mile of power walking which was just as fast as my jog.

Also.. I've sat at around 1300-1400 calories in net total a day too. My weak point is drinking more than 5 cups of water a day. I did a water test- survey in an app I downloaded to my new iPhone and it said for my weight and activity level.. And climate ( it being hot and humid in Houston ) I must consume around 14 cups of water too help with my workouts/ appetite/ weight loss / and prevention of heavy water retention.

Saturday I weighed in at a surprising 183... My lowest to date with diet and exercise on my own. ( thanks my fitness pal app! )

Yesterday I weighed in at 190 and wanted to jump off a cliff. Pissed!!! How could I gain 7 lbs in a few short days of watching my diet and working out?!

Lack. Of. Water.

I had only consumed maybe 4 cups a day?

Bad Megan! :/

So.. Since realizing that yesterday and having an mini heart attack I increased it to 8. I have since released 4 lbs but my fingers are still swollen a bit with my wedding ring on so I know the water survey wasn't exaggerating things. I'm dehydrated and NEED to consume more.

Right now a salad and a tall glass of water sit before me. I want to hit the 170's by the end of this month. And get my own pair of running shoes.

This mama will get fit for this summer!!!
