This is a short post for now until the weekend when I can post again but I am now in week 2 of the Insanity program with my friend Ashlei and I've lost a total of 4 lbs so far and 1 inch off of all the areas you typically measure! This workout is kickin' my ass but let me say it's worth it so far! We've geared up with the workout clothes, the water jugs that hold 8 glasses of water at a time, and even swanked up with some new neon colored running shoes for extra support! The goal weight in mind right now is 155-160 by August and I think it'll be manageable. No room for failure right now. December 1st is my friend Jamie's wedding and I'm wearing a mermaid skirted gown that is figure hugging so I gotta get ready for that! Also I think we might be doing a wedding renewal for our 5 year next year so I gotta look good for that too :)

SO excited and so happy that I've been receiving ALOT of support on this. Here we go! Today was day 9. Change in events!

So I just partnered up with my friend Ashlei and we are doing the insanity workout program. Today is day 2.

Let me just say it left my legs feeling like jello yesterday. I feel it today. It feels goooood.

I need tennis shoes tho. Hoping to drop down 15-20 lbs with this and all diet efforts we are doing together.

Also! We are training for the warrior dash on march 16th 2013! I'm so excited!!! Hoping to get a girls team and a boys team made. My hubby is excited about it too. Early registration is $55 before September and $75 after the new year. Eeek!

So .. Halting any baby talk and going full throttle with this event! Progress photos soon!!

@&@@&?!^#%?!

I am having a very vulnerable moment right now. I hate my body. Hormones are out of whack. Going though our
closet tonight to see what we are keeping and what we are tossing. Well I'm tossing more than keeping because of this ugly, grotesque piece of fat effing "fupa" hanging off my lower torso and I can't stand it any more!

I'm going to loose this nasty body and rebuild it from the ground up. I'm so disgusted with how it looks after 2 c- sections. I don't feel feminine. I feel like a fat guy giggling everywhere. Over it!

Beast mode.

So the last 4 days I've been hitting my workouts really hard. Saturday and Sunday I rode 8 miles a go burning close to 700 cals each time. Monday and yesterday I ran my 3 mile course; and actually I did an extra mile of power walking which was just as fast as my jog.

Also.. I've sat at around 1300-1400 calories in net total a day too. My weak point is drinking more than 5 cups of water a day. I did a water test- survey in an app I downloaded to my new iPhone and it said for my weight and activity level.. And climate ( it being hot and humid in Houston ) I must consume around 14 cups of water too help with my workouts/ appetite/ weight loss / and prevention of heavy water retention.

Saturday I weighed in at a surprising 183... My lowest to date with diet and exercise on my own. ( thanks my fitness pal app! )

Yesterday I weighed in at 190 and wanted to jump off a cliff. Pissed!!! How could I gain 7 lbs in a few short days of watching my diet and working out?!

Lack. Of. Water.

I had only consumed maybe 4 cups a day?

Bad Megan! :/

So.. Since realizing that yesterday and having an mini heart attack I increased it to 8. I have since released 4 lbs but my fingers are still swollen a bit with my wedding ring on so I know the water survey wasn't exaggerating things. I'm dehydrated and NEED to consume more.

Right now a salad and a tall glass of water sit before me. I want to hit the 170's by the end of this month. And get my own pair of running shoes.

This mama will get fit for this summer!!!

Keep on moving... keep on moving...

Week one of husband starting new job; so far -- going very well. 
I dislike not having a safe, functioning car though. 
My girls have been sick sick sick and I can't leave the house to take them anywhere at the moment. 
Only a few more months till I can get the mom-wagon aka: my mini van (we think).

I've been doing very good on diet this week. Down 2 pounds from vacation. Yay me! Slowly getting grains and sugars out of my diet. I read somewhere today that in the next 10 years, America will be 50% morbidly obese. I do NOT want to be on that half of the pie chart. Nope. 
I'm wanting to join a gym soon... something were I can lift weights, do intense training, run on a treadmill, ect.. just rebuild. I really need to rebuild.

On another note, I think I'm taking my photography business to the next level; and by level I mean to a whole new area. Fantasy/Composite/Creative photography has always been a 'hobby' of mine on the side.. but over the last 18 months I've really been hitting  my ideas hard on paper here and there to the point where my brain is basically constipated and I have to get it out ASAP, otherwise I'll pop. Yep, you read that right. I loose sleep if I get too many things bouncing around and don't get it out fast enough. Anyhow -- I want to make this my focus. My passion. Although I don't mind interpreting... I really have found that I prefer to create. My life revolves around art. I see everything in an artsy way. Even writing/stories/poetry... along with drawing/painting/sculpting/photography. Tis' probably why I've always sucked at math, haha. 

ANYWAYS.

My eyes are aimed to create some new things and offer them to the public and hopefully find some of my work in a magazine, DVD cover, movie poster, book cover, ect... 
Do want. Now. :)
